The Gift of Jesus Christ: Apostles The book of 1 Corinthians 12:28 tells us about the different offices the Lord Jesus Christ gave to the church in order to equip and build the saints(christians) for kingdom work and the first one mentioned are apostles. Who are apostles? An apostle is simply someone who is sent from one place to another place to fulfil something. He is a special messenger. The office of the apostle in the last three decades has drawn a lot of interest and many Christians have attached some of forms mystery and adulation to it and this is wrong and misleading. This is why I've decided to discuss this very important spiritual office.
