Welcome to another enlightening time on my blog THE TRUTH. Today we will be discussing one of the most popular topics in our christian race which is faith. Now I am aware that we are supposed to continue our discuss on the christian graces but a facebook friend of mine from Liberia shared a testimony with me that led me to discuss this topic today(I also believe that it's the Holy Spirit at work).

I assure you that we will continue our discuss on the christian graces in subsequent posts. My facebook friend from Liberia,who works as a nurse, shared with me how one of her patients with whom she has been discussing my blog with got born again yesterday because my blog(God using my blog) changed her life.

I am so happy today that I will also dedicated this post to her(the patient) to prepare her mind for her healing. It also shows that people do appreciate my work and it also shows that the Holy Spirit is using this blog to bring people to Christ. Today, I will also be praying for that patient(the one who just got born again and anyone who is sick) who is still in hospital and I know that Jesus Christ has healed her. I will also be sharing that testimony with you my fateful viewers. Now let's delve into today's discuss and also pray to the Holy Spirit for enlightenment before you continue read.

  What is  Faith? Faith in a layman's term is simply "complete belief and trust in Jehovah Elohim". That's my simple definition of faith and in the original word it also means belief and trust in God but today our discuss will be based on the bible's definition of faith. Let's turn our bibles to the book of Hebrew 11:1 which says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Please note the words I marked because they will form the basis for our discuss today. Let's also turn our bibles to Hebrew 11:6 which says "But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him".  Please meditate on these bible verses as I share what the Holy Spirit revealed to me about faith which you might not have been aware of.

  The Holy Spirit revealed to me that as Christians(citizens of heaven, heirs of Christ's inheritance and spiritual beings) we must understand that faith is the receipt God gave us for our rights and  promises payed for by Jesus Christ. Please do you understand me? Faith is that receipt(or evidence of payment) we must hold in our inner man whenever we ask God for anything in prayer. If that receipt(evidence of payment) is not shown our prayers can never be answered. Let me give a simple illustration to buttress my point. When I was in secondary school in my country Nigeria, sometimes before we were allowed into our classes we were asked to show the school's officials the receipts of our school fees(to prove we were not financially indebted to the school) and if we failed to show it we were sent  back home. That's how it works in the spirit realm, in God's realm. Whenever we pray to God(or are being prayed for by a servant of God) or ask a request from God, the spiritual realm demands that we show the evidence of payment for that prayer request which will prove that you are not indebted spiritually and which also shows that we are entitled to answers for our requests or prayers to God. The above bible verse(Hebrews 11:6) says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. What does the word substance mean? Substance simply means the stuff of which an object consists. From the above definition we can also deduce that faith is the physical stuff or thing we possess for whatever request, prayers or desires we are hoping on God to fulfill and answer. For example, let's say you have been asking God to heal you of a disease in your body, you must to start imagine and see yourself as a hale and healthy person . You can even start doing things you found difficult doing and you can also start telling your friends that you are healed. That's faith made flesh. That's faith in it's  physical form(it's substance) and by believing that God can heal you are showing the evidence of payment for health according to Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2;24. 

  I must confess to you that it works. Let me share a testimony with you.

  I remember meeting a lady on facebook who had been in search of a job for several years but to no avail. She told me of her plight and I told her that she will soon get a job and she believed instantly and to my surprise, in less than a month she had a good job.

  The Holy Spirit some months back began teaching me  that after praying or asking God for anything I should just forget about that request and believe that it has been answered. I must never start to worry or imagine how the prayer would be answered because that would create a portal for doubts to creep in. That's how I function and since I believe that I can't answer my own prayers, why then should I worry about how they will be answered? My brethen I suggest that you put it into practice because it works. Whenever we doubt God we belittle him and that's a slap on His divine sovereignty as Jehovah Elohim. We must learn never to doubt God.
