Today we will be concluding the series of our discuss THE NEW COVENANT and we will be beginning a new discuss on the much awaited topic SIN (if we can't begin on this post, I will do that on my next post). I am sure you all must have been waiting for this topic and I also take responsibility for the unnecessary delay. As you aware, the subject of sin is among the most debated topics in the christian faith. Different people and authorities in the christian faith have written their own views on this topic. Some have over flogged the issue, some have written on this subject based on the little knowledge they possessed on this subject. As a soldier of Christ (even though many might disagree) in the mysteries of the christian faith we (the holy spirit and I) would be dissecting and demystifying this subject which is one of (if not the) most debated topic in which some people ( especially false prophets) have twisted to suit their own fancy and some ignorant people (with little knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God) have denied their fellow christian brethen of accurate knowledge on this topic.

We (the Holy Spirit and I) are hoping that after a thorough and in depth discuss on this topic the eyes of our will be enlightened on this topic. Ephesians 1:18. So back to our finale on THE NEW COVENANT. 

I hope we have been enlightened on the various aspects of the new covenant because the reason I am taking time to discuss it is to give us an in depth knowledge of the dispensation we are currently under which will enable us to know our rights and roles as God's servants under the new covenant.
Please know this God completely defeated and disgraced the devil at the cross ( you will never really grasped the real meaning of this statement unless  the holy spirit opens the eyes of your innerman ).
We will conclude this series by giving you reasons why our new covenant is more perfect than the old covenant (we are not trying to prove any point but just trying to enlighten us, the old covenant is holy and was made to usher us into the new covenant but we have a new law which is found in Galatians 5:22-23). Can we begin? Of course we can.

Firstly, in the old covenant Moses was mediator while Aaron was high priest but in our covenant Jesus is both mediator and high priest. Exodus 7:1, Exodus 28 vs 1, Hebrews 10, 1 john 2:1.

Secondly, Moses had to fast for forty days twice under the old covenant ( Exodus 24:18 and Exodus 34:28) to show how faulty it was but Jesus fasted for forty days only once. ( Matthew 4:2).

Thirdly, God was angry with Moses, his mediator (deuteronomy 31:2) once but God can NEVER be angry with our mediator and high priest. Matthew 3:17.

Moses begged God for forty days and nights for the sins of his people but Jesus offered one sacrifice for sins forever and that pleased God. Our high priest Jesus is God and HE can't beg His father Jehovah Elohim like Moses did. JESUS IS GOD.

Moses(the mediator of the old covenant) was from this world and was born a sinner but JESUS(our perfect high priest) came from heaven and was born without sin.

In the old covenant, only Moses had direct access to God(Elohim) but in this our new covenant every believer has direct access to God through Christ.

GOD had to write the old covenant twice (Exodus 31:18 and Exodus 34:1) but God wrote our covenant once through the resurrection of Christ.

In the old covenant the blood of animals was used to atone for sins but in the new covenant the blood of a God was used.

In the old convenant the people had to go to the temple at Mount Moriah to worship God( by the way the mount stills exist today and can still be seen in Israel, even the  passage to the temple still exists) but in our new convenant we are the temple of GOD( isn't that mind blowing?) 1 Corinthians 6:19.

The old covenant was a ministry of condemnation  but our new covenant is a ministry of reconcilation and righteousness.(that's why anyone who doesn't follow Christ completely has condemned himself/herself. God did not condemn such person). 11 Corinthians 3:1-10.

And finally the people of the old covenant were descendants of Adam(a sinful living being) but in our new covenant, we are descendants of Jesus (a sinless life giving being) when we become reborn(born again. I discussed this in my first post and i suggest you read it for a better explanation, if you haven't). This means we are sinless life giving spirits( this is powerful). Please pray to the Holy Spirit to give you a deeper understanding and read the bible verses I gave again and do your own research in the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Corinthians 15:20-49.
