Welcome to another entertaining and revealing time in God's presence. I welcome you to "The Truth". Today before we continue our series on "SIN", I want us to discuss one of the most undiscussed topic in the christian faith which is "THE MYSTERY OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN". I am suppose to discuss the topic of sin but I want those of you who have not been following the series on sin to read on it on my blog so that when we continue the discuss on sin no one will be confused. So without wasting anymore time let us begin today's discuss.

  I am sure some of you might be wondering why God created or perhaps you know already but I hope and pray that today's discuss will enlighten you more in Jesus name.Please to the Holy Spirit for a few seconds before you continue reading. The garden of Eden was the paradise God made for Adam and his wife Eve. Now, the word "paradise" comes from a Persian word meaning "a pleasure ground" or "park" or "king's garden". So from this definition we deduce that the garden of Eden was God's pleasure ground or park or recreation spot. I know this might seem confusing so lets turn our bibles to the book of Genesis 2:1-11. Now before we continue I want remind us of the guidelines I gave when reading the bible, one of the guidelines says"when reading the bible note what the bible said that it has been saying" so its important you read our bible text from the beginning. 

  Now from verse 1 we can see that God had already created the heavens and the earth and even man and finally God decided to plant the garden of Eden, now this might seem confusing but if we look at our own gardens we know that gardens are designed from a place e.g you might have a small place in your backyard and decide to change it in to a garden because it contains beautiful flowers and other things, so you will take care of it and design it to suit you and your taste. 
I hope you understand me. So God (Elohim or creator) supernaturally created and designed a garden in Eden. Now from one of the riverhead that watered the garden, the river Euphrates (2 verse 14), we know that the garden of Eden will probably be in the middle east because the river Euphrates was one of the major rivers that supplied ancient Babylon which is now modern Iraq. 
Now going back to the discuss from our verse we can see that God created the garden after He had created all the other creations including man so God decided to create a garden. Why? you might ask and I am going to answer that now. We humans after a long day at work or during vacations or in the evenings we love to hang out with our loved ones in a recreation parks just to spend time with each other and also remember we were created in God's image and his likeness(i.e behavior and attitude but when sin entered this world, it disconnected us from God and restructured our mind till we became evil and sinful). Connecting that with our definition of the word paradise, we see that the garden in Eden was a pleasure ground or recreation park for God. 

The paradise we as christians will go to will be very similar to the garden of Eden. In fact God never intended sufferings, pains, sorrows to be a part of this world, Eden was a place of bliss for Adam and it was only when sin(disobedience) entered man that the entire spiritual realm became disfigured and this manifested in our physical realm leading to the opposite of what God intended for man(remember God warned man if he ate the fruit he would die i.e both spiritually and physically. sorrows and pains lead to death). So after God made the entire universe he decides to make a recreation spot for himself that's why it came last but God cannot be in the garden alone. 
Now you might thinking: "why will God be alone? He has the host of heaven to keep Him company." That's true but remember that the garden was not in heaven but on earth and only beings with  natural bodies(i.e bodies similar to things found on earth) are spiritually legally allowed to dwell on earth...That's the way God ordained it and that explains why Jesus Christ had to come in human flesh for his mission to save mankind. 
 That's why you see that demons like to possess humans, statues,idols animals etc.so that their existence would be legal in our earth realm. God ordained it like that.) are permitted to stay on this earth but God is above that law because He is the creator of the entire universe and He can also permit any spirits and angels to enter our natural realm in their spirit bodies and that also explains why God gave man a body, so that his existence in this natural realm would be legal and comfortable. So God creates a recreation or pleasure park for himself and creates a being as a companion and someone He could love, so He creates man(remember man is a spirit living in a body to make existence on earth suitable and legal and he possesses a soul). So we can conclude that God made man for companionship.
 Man is the only creature God made in this special way and to make it better God created an entire realm for man(the earth). We humans are very special to God. We were created as a result of God's love and care, that also explains the jealousy and hatred of satan towards man. The devil will do all he can to draw you away from God's love,he will use sex, friends, worldly music,partying etc to distract you from the true love of your father.

  In fact Genesis 3:8 supports our discuss,it says"they heard the sound of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day". This was something God did regularly with Adam and Eve, fellowship and companionship, but when Adam sinned, Adam lost that connection with his father and became alienated from his father(God) but Jesus(the son of God,the beginning and end,the bright morning star,the truth,agape love) came to restore that fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit unlike Adam who could see directly into the spirit realm before he sinned. 
Jesus did not come to bring earthly riches or money to man(though that's a minor part of it) Jesus came to restore us to our father. Now as believers we can fellowship deeply with our father. God enjoys our company, God loves us, His is our father, thats why if you are reading this post and you are not born again, you have alienated yourself from your loving father and God wants you to be His son. 
Please become born again by saying these words with your mouth and believing them in your heart:Lord Jesus I believe you are the son of God. I believe that you died for my sins and rose for my justification. I acknowledge my sins and ask that you cleanse me with your precious blood.I accept you into my life as my Lord and savior. Thank you Jesus. Amen. Please join a  true bible believing church and serve Christ, you will never regret this decision.

  In conclusion the mystery of the garden of Eden is this: the garden was God's pleasure ground and Adam's paradise that God created for companionship and fellowship and it was a place of bliss for Adam and Eve and to every believer reading this post, know that our own paradise is waiting for us.
